As an early childhood educator I am passionate about providing young students with access to high quality, engaging, and empowering instruction. My goal is to create a learning environment where students feel safe, supported, and inspired to explore new ideas, acquire new skills, and comprehend new concepts.
I believe in an inquiry-based approach to learning which provides students an opportunity to explore their own curiosities and investigate real-world problems. An Inquiry-based approach encourages students to be hands-on learners who are empowered to think critically, creatively, and collaboratively.
As an early childhood and special education teacher, I have experience developing and monitoring student IEP goals and working with diverse students. I have tutored and taught students with varying needs and diagnoses such as Autism, ADD, ADHD, Soto Syndrome, Selective Mutism, and Cerebral Palsy.
I value social-emotional learning and I am a certified social-emotional learning facilitator and a certified yoga teacher.
