You can’t stop the waves, but you can learn to surf. As we go through life, we may experience waves of difficult times that can impact our mental health. This may result in anxiety, depression, grief, or relationship difficulties, and we often judge ourselves for having these human experiences. If you or your children are dealing with these challenges, please consider letting me help.
I have a BA in Psychology from The College of New Jersey, and I earned a Masters of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth University in 2020. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey (License #37PC00937900) and I am a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC).
I also work as the Mental Health Counselor at Brick Township High School. While I have a great deal of experience working with adolescents, I see a wide range of clients from ages 6 to 46. I am a trained Sand Play Therapist and incorporate these practices into my work with clients of all ages. I also work with couples — I am Level 1 Certified in Gottman Couples Counseling.
Overall, my goal is to provide individually-geared treatment to help you develop greater self-compassion and confidence in managing your mental health.
